Yvonne Marcynuik

Yvonne Marcynuik passed away peacefully on August 29, 2012 in Canmore, Alberta at the age of 83 years

Yvonne is lovingly remembered by her children; Fran Jenkins (Ted), Anthony Marcynuik (Val) and James Marcynuik (Mei), as well as her many grandchildren; Connie, Stephanie, Sarah and Daniel Jenkins, Dustin Sadorsky, Crystal Marcynuik and Damien Sadorsky. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Bill Marcynuik in 1997.

Yvonne lived on a farm growing up in northern Manitoba, then working in bush camps. These experiences made her a strong and understanding woman. She fell in love with her husband Bill and they were married in 1956. They lived and farmed in Hodgson, Manitoba and then moved to Canmore in 1969.

Yvonne had a love of people and animals. Her dog Ginger was very important to her. Yvonne's smile and big heart touched many people. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

A funeral service to remember Yvonne was held on Friday September 7, 2012 in the Ralph Conner Memorial United Church in Canmore. She was then be laid to rest in the Canmore Cemetery beside her husband Bill.
