Yoshiaki passed away peacefully at the Canmore Hospital on
May 21, 2013 at the age of 82 years
He had a stroke on March 14, 2013 which was followed by several haemorrhages from which he could not recover.
Yoshiaki was born in Japan and moved to Canada in 1999 to enjoy his retirement. He loved walking and we wish to say many thanks to all who said "Hello" to him, even though he couldn't speak English.
Yoshiaki is survived by his loving wife Fumiko, his son Tadashi (Yvonne) and grandson Simon.
The family also wish to thank all those who cared for him over the last two months.
As was Yoshiaki's request, cremation has taken place and the family will have a private remembrance.
