Vasiliki (Vaso) Chustas passed away in Banff on Monday, November 14, 2011. Predeceased by her loving husband Alexander Chustas, she is survived by her daughter Rena, her son Archie, her sister Niki and brother-in-law Van Chiftis, nieces Elena and Constance, nephew-in-law Robert Fewster and great niece Kaila.
In 1950, she immigrated to Canada from Greece and has resided in Banff until her death where she owned the Elite Café and Restaurant later becoming the Elite Villa Steak House.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Fowke and the medical community in Banff for their care and support.
Funeral service for Vasiliki was held on Friday, November 18, 2011 in St. Georges in-the-Pines Anglican Church in Banff officiated by Reverend Dimitrios Rougas (Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church). She was then interred with her beloved husband in the Old Banff Cemetery.
