Trish Mattson

Patricia Margaret Alice "Trish" Mattson (nee Jeffery) passed away peacefully in Canmore, at the age of 96 years, with her grand daughter, Sarah, by her side. She lived most of her life in Exshaw before moving to the Bow River Lodge in Canmore in 2007.

She loved Exshaw and all the close friendships she made over the years. It was here that she met and married Conrad Mattson,

and where they raised their three children, Ken, Coleen and Sarah. Sunday afternoons at the home of Trish and Conrad were memorable, with visiting relatives and friends, and the fragrance of freshly baked breads, cakes and coffee percolating.

Trish was predeceased by her husband, Conrad and her brother Stan. She is survived by her son, Ken(Doreen), daughter, Coleen, grand children, Sarah (Malcolm), Terrianne (Bob), Clayton (Diane), great grand children, Patricia, Dustin, Devin, Amanda, Hailey, great great grandchildren, Vaughn, Wade, Miles, Paula as well as her brother

Bert Jeffery.

Graveside service of interment was held on Wednesday,

September 21, 2016 in the Canmore Cemetery where she was laid to rest next to Conrad. A gathering of Friends and Family was held at in the Exshaw Community Centre following the service of interment.
