Thomas Anderson

Thomas McKee Anderson passed away after a short

but courageous battle.

Thomas was predeceased by his wife Jeannette, parents Lawrence

and Katherine as well as two brothers and six sisters.

He is survived by Larry (Dana), Janice (Maurice) Borsa, two grandsons, Michael (Brittney), Morgan (Charlotte) and a great grandson Grady

as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas was born and raised in Canmore and live his whole life in the Bow Valley which is where he met his wife Jeannette and together raised two children. Tom worked as a miner right up till the gate was finally locked at Canmore Mines.

Thomas loved Canmore and was always admiring the mountains

which he adored and he always made it known this is the place

he will rest.

The family wish to express their gratitude to Dr. M. Quinlan and the nurses and staff of the Canmore General Hospital for the loving and compassionate care that Thomas received. It would be greatly appreciated for friends wishing to remember Tom, make a donation to the Canmore and Area Health Care Foundation, 1100 Hospital Place, Canmore T1W 1N2 for use in the Canmore Hospital.

Funeral service was held Thursday, June 8, 2017 in St. Michael's Anglican Church, Canmore. Interment followed in the Canmore Cemetery where he was laid to rest with Jeannette.
