Tanja Roberta Geber was born July 24, 1968 in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Banff. She was predeceased by her loving mother Hildegard
four years ago and will be lovingly remembered by her father Gunter
in Banff.
Tanja's passion was her church, Mountain Baptist Church in Canmore. They became her second family, and her pastor, Trevor Sato was an amazing supporter and friend. Her church and its members meant so much to her. Tanja was also involved with native culture and over the years organized events and fundraisers in the Bow Valley community.
Tanja had a kind heart and has many wonderful friends. Sadly, on
March 6, 2013 Tanja left us to be with Jesus. She is now at peace and leaves us with many fond memories. Her many friends and family in Canada and Germany should find comfort knowing Tanja is now at peace.
A memorial service for Tanja was held on Monday, March 18, 2013
in St. Michael's Church in Canmore with Pastor Trevor Sato officiating
