Simonne Vandergrift passed away peacefully in Medicine Hat, Alberta on 4th January 2016 at the age of 93. Simonne was born in Banff
1st July 1922.
Simonne is preceded in death by her parents Robert Copeland Kennedy and Suzanne Kennedy, her brother Lucien Jules Kennedy, and her husband Millard Raymond Vandergrift. She is survived in death
by her 5 children Robert, Donald, Marilyn, Linda and Gary and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Simonne loved to travel and to spend time with her family and made friends everywhere she went. She left her love on all of us and will be truly missed.
Memorial services were held at the Old Banff Cemetery Friday, 12th August 2016 where her ashes were interred. Reception followed at the Banff Senior Center.
