It is with great sorrow we say goodbye to Shirley Joan Bolter
(nee Brown) who passed away peacefully at home in Canmore
the morning of July 12, 2019.
Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of 61years, Robert,
her daughters Susan and Norma (Andy), grandchildren Samantha (Jon), Andrew and Christopher, great grandchildren Grace, Edwin, Marshall, Eirik and Caleb.
Shirley graduated from the University of Alberta Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. Providing care as a RN in many settings. (Brooks Hospital, Edmonton General Hospital, Edmonton Public Health, Edmonton Misericordia Hospital and the Canmore General Hospital.)
Shirley had a zest for life, touching all with her grace and kindness. She loved her family, knitting, sewing, travelling, hiking, skiing and many outdoor activities. In her later years she was an avid golfer, swimmer.
A memorial service was held, Tuesday, July 23, 2019
at St. Michael's Anglican Church, Canmore.
