Roy Goulet

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Roy Goulet,

of Banff, formerly of Montreal. Roy was predeceased by his parents

Roy Sr. (1998) and Rachel (2020). He is survived by his wife Rebecca, his daughters Jennifer (Manousos), Kelly (Mark), Jasmine (Mack) and his son Stephane, as well as brothers Gerry (Anne) and Michael (Patrice). Grandpapa will be missed by his granddaughters Emilie, Olivia and Sophie. Nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts also mourn his passing. In addition, certainly Cinder will miss his daily walking partner.

In his youth Roy was a talented athlete, excelling at track and field, football and paddling. He had various careers in his lifetime, including as a real estate agent, and served as a school board trustee for numerous years for the Conseil Scolaire FrancoSud. Roy was very involved in promoting French education in the Bow Valley and in addition he volunteered within the community and the church. His presence will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta in Roy's memory.

A celebration of life for Roy took place at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Parish in Banff at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 10, 2022, followed by interment and a reception at the church hall.
