Richard Morris

Richard Hart Morris was born in Coral Gables Hospital in Miami, Florida. Growing up with his family, he attended Coral Gables High School before joining the United States Air force right out of high school at the age of 19. He remained in the Air Force for several years and retired to work for many years in sales of electrical fixtures and components to the building industry.

Richard has lived in the Bow Valley since 2002 and retired from security at the Banff Centre for the Arts where he enjoyed several years working with people from all over the world.

Richard passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Mineral Springs Hospital.

He is survived by his two daughters, Susan and Robin Morris (husband Mike Carkner), their mother, Judy Yerxa as well as his two sisters Thomasine and Sidney Morris and two brothers Michael and James Morris (wife Laura).

Richard was loved immensely and will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at his request.
