Richard Kuzminski

With hearts full of sadness and loss we take a moment to share news

of Richard's passing away at Templemont Gardens in Calgary at the age of 63.

Richard was born in Canmore at the hospital on the hill to Anna & Peter Kuzminski. From his young years as an "Upper Prospect Kid", through his maturing years, he stayed a lifetime resident of Canmore. During his Canmore school years, Rich found an interest in automobiles, apprenticed through Southern Alberta Institute of Technology as an auto mechanic. For numerous years Richard worked for the Can Bow family of businesses as an auto mechanic, parts clerk, auto detailer and other functions.

Richard enjoyed working, but what he really enjoyed was boat fishing

in the cold lakes surrounding the Bow Valley and British Columbia whenever able. Along the way he found an interest in pool (billiards)

and became a member of the local pool league where he earned various trophies.

Richard leaves behind his brother Bob (Joanne) & family, niece Jacquie (Ron) & family, and family of Bronia in Canada and Poland. He was predeceased by his mom and dad, Anna and Peter, as well as his sister Beatrice (Bea) and sister in law Gail (Bob).

The Kuzminski family would like to express their heart felt appreciation to Bow River Lodge, Canmore General Hospital, Calgary area Hospitals and Templemont Gardens for their supportive and gentle care of Richard during his declining years.

A private family memorial for Richard will be held at a later date.
