Pieter Willem Adriaan Grobler

Pieter's life was wholeheartedly devoted to sharing his many gifts with all those who knew him. He was a loving husband whose attentive dedication spanned 41 years of marriage; a tremendously supportive father; and a contagiously enthusiastic grandfather whose playfulness and creativity were of epic proportion. Perhaps best known as a passionate and gifted teacher, "Mr. G" inspired generations of students, parents and colleagues. Above all, he was a storyteller , one whose magical tales of his adventurous youth in South Africa enraptured even the most reluctant students. Those who had the good fortune to have crossed his path remember Pieter as a man of boundless energy with a kind and generous soul and a genuine interest in helping people reach their full potential.

Pieter is survived by his wife Mirjam; his son Achilles (Miriam) and his daughter Sabrina (Hugh); his grandchildren Oscar (Nkwazi), Hugo (Balela) and Evita (Illari); and his sisters, Ria and Betsie.
