It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Albert Guthrie on Friday May 20 at the age of 73 years at his mountain home in Canmore where he has resided for the past 18 years.
He will be greatly missed by his three sons; Robert, Peter, and James; his 5 grandchildren, Caleb, Olivia, Annika, Jacqueline, and Dylan; his two sisters Linda Seeley and Diana Orr as well as many other friends and relatives. Peter was predeceased by his loving wife, Mona Maxine Wilson and his parents James Harold Roberts Guthrie and Olive Editha Wood.
A gathering of friends and family to share memories and stories of Peter's life was held Friday June 3 at the Blind Monk Pub in Calgary.
A private family interment will be held in the Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal, Quebec at a later date.
