Paula Roberta Collyer, R.N., born in Kingston, Ontario in the spring of 1926, daughter to Frank and Gertrude Ohlke, a graduate of the nursing program at Kingston General Hospital and the University of Toronto, a devoted wife of 62 years to Charles (Chuck) Collyer, a beloved mother to David, Alan and Brian, and a grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend to so many passed away peacefully at the Canmore General Hospital in the early evening on Family Day, Monday, Feb. 20, 2017. She is profoundly missed by her family.
Paula's life was marked by her love and devotion to her family and her friends. She was a great example to her children and grandchildren, providing unconditional love, unlimited support, thoughtful guidance and ongoing inspiration. Thank you Paula for enriching the loves of all you have touched. We will carry you in our hearts forever and will always remember you for your gracious, caring and generous spirit.
The Collyer family wishes to acknowledge and thank the doctors, nursing and support staff and homecare providers at the Canmore General Hospital for the wonderful care and love you provided our family. We were blessed to have benefited from your extraordinary care.
