Patricia Robicheau

Patricia Ellen Robicheau (nee Ridgway) passed away unexpectedly on

May 19, 2013 at her Creston residence at the age of 68 years.

Patt was born to Kathleen and William Ridway on February 1, 1945 at Banff, AB, where she was raised and graduated from the Banff Regional High School. In 1968, she visited Edmonton, where she met her future husband of 44 years, Jim. The couple were married in April of 1969.

After a short time they returned to Banff, then to Canmore, where they resided and raised their two sons William and Ervin. When Patt and Jim retired they moved to the Creston Valley where they still reside.

Patt was a founding member of Krafty Kronys, which was her passion. The Krafty Kronys mission was to fund raise for T.A.P.S. (Therapeutic Activation Program for Seniors). She loved working with the seniors to enrich their lives in their golden years. Patt also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, crafting, embroidery and volunteering at various organizations. She also donated items to various animal shelters because she loved pets.

Patt will be sadly missed by her family and friends, especially her husband Jim, who can still see her sitting across from him in the mornings, drinking her coffee and knitting, as she did for so many years.

Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday,

May 29, 2013 in Our Lady of the Rockies Parish,

St. Mary's Catholic Church, 305 Squirrel Street, Banff.

Interment followed the funeral mass in Mountain View Cemetery,

Banff National Park.

Sweetheart, our adventure across Canada will have to be postponed for a while until next we meet, then we will continue our journey together. My heart is broken, Patti, because you were my soulmate

and partner in life.
