Patrick Thomas George Woods passed away peacefully at the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital at the age of 64 years.
Pat was employed by C.P. Hotels from 1974 and held various positions within their organization. Beyond extensive travel, Pat was involved with the construction and re-development of the properties of C.P. in Western Canada. He also provided management with several of C.P.'s foreign properties and was involved in the construction of the Whistler Golf Course and Hotel. After his employment with C.P. Hotels, he operated the golf cart concession at the Banff Springs Golf Course for several years, making many friends.
In his retirement, he enjoyed being an active member of the Banff Royal Canadian Legion and also spending his winters in Hawaii.
Patrick was the son of Franklin George Woods (1925-2015) and Dorothy Eileen (nee Greig). Patrick is survived by his wife Nadine
(nee Matte), his sister and brothers Dianne Yvonne (Bill Pier), Michael Frank (Lynn), Steven Gregory (Sonshine), brother-in-law Clinton Joseph Edward Matte (Robin) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
