Pat Feltham

Patricia Mary Feltham (nee Fox), beloved wife of 40 years of Robert (Bob) Feltham passed away peacefully, after a year long fight against cancer, in the Mineral Springs Hospital in Banff, Alberta in the evening hours of Thursday December 2, 2010. Pat and Bob have resided in Lake Louise for the last 2 years, where they have enjoyed all that the mountains have to offer.

Predeceased by her father Jack Fox, Pat is survived by her three children, Jeffrey in St. Thomas, ON; Stephanie (Michael) in Edmonton, AB and Kymberley (Galen) in Kitchener, ON. as well as her mother, Marion Fox and her two brothers Lloyd and Jack (Sharon) all of Wallaceburg, Ontario.

After graduating from Windsor Teachers College in 1967, Pat taught in Windsor before marrying and moving to Hamilton, then Simcoe, where she continued her teaching career, with brief interruptions while she had and raised our three children. For the last 10 years of her teaching career, Pat taught JK/SK at Bloomsburg School, before retiring in June, 2008.

Pat never lost her childlike wonder for life and wanted to know how things worked and why, which made her the perfect teacher for children entering school for the first time, as she could communicate with them at their level as they explored learning together, and share in the excitement as understanding blossomed in their young minds.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 11:00am in the Smith Funeral Home in Simcoe, Ontario. Interment in the family plot in Wallaceburg, Ontario took place Friday, December 10, 2010.
