Patricia Eileen Chakowski passed away peacefully on October 23, 2009 in her 91st year. Pat was predeceased by husband "Stosh" in 1982. She will be missed by daughter Eileen, son Colin (Barb). Grandchildren Paula, Deborah (Greg) and Leigh-Ann (Angus) as well as great grandchildren Max, Ryan, Taylor, Alex and Sophie.
She is also survived by her brother Manley.
Pat enjoyed golf, cards, baking bread and playing her piano. She was active in the Ralph Connor United Church throughout her lifetime.
Pat was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and traveling.
All of us will miss her fun loving spirit, her infectious laugh, her wonderful smile and her caring and supportive ways.
Funeral service for Pat will be held at the Ralph Connor Memorial United Church, Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 1:00 pm with a family interment service in the Canmore Cemetery prior to the funeral service.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Duggleby, Dr. Marriott and the exceptional nurses and staff at St. Martha's Place, Banff Mineral Springs Hospital for the wonderful, compassionate care provided to Pat.
