Nettie Dagneault

March 11, 1932 — September 16, 2011

Nettie Dagneault, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Friend passed away peacefully with her family at her side in the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital at the age of 79 years.

Nettie was born on a homestead in Rama, Saskatchewan to Charles & Pauline Anderson. Nettie later moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she met her husband Gerry who predeceased her on April 26, 1975.

Nettie made two other moves in her life, one to Calgary and then two years later, in 1990 to Banff to be closer to her daughter. Here is where she was met with open arms and formed the many friendships that she came to cherish. Nettie touched the lives of many people with her smile and wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by her son Daryl (wife Laureen) of Victoria, British Columbia, daughter Dalyce (husband Philip) and the apple of her eye granddaughter Michelyn all of Banff, Alberta.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday September 21, 2011 at Our Lady of the Rockies Catholic Parish, (St. Mary's Catholic Church) in Banff with a reception following at the Banff Legion
