On September 22, 2014 Milly Lazzarotto passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years at the Canmore Hospital. She was predeceased in 2009 by her loving husband of 64 years, Jino.
Milly is survived by a loving family which includes daughter Linda (Ron) of Calgary; sons Lionel (Heather) of Calgary, Ron (Marie) of Exshaw and Ritchie (Sandi) of Calgary as well as grandchildren Randy, Teana, Brenda, Lisa, Bradley, Kelsey and great grandchildren Johnny, Ryan, Jayden, Keegan, Braden, Kaitlyn and Shauna. Milly is also survived by her brother Art (Beth) Kaleta of Calgary and many nieces and nephews.
Milly was born in Canmore and spent her early years there. When she married Jino in 1945 she moved to Exshaw for 67 years where she raised her family. The last two years Milly resided at the Bow River Lodge in Canmore.
A Celebration of Milly's life was held on Friday, October 3, 2014
in St. Michael's Anglican Church Hall in Canmore.
Milly will be sadly missed by her entire family and friends and all those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to remember Milly may make a donation, in her memory, to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 15 Colonel Baker Place NE., Calgary, AB T2E 4Z3
