Henry Michael Scherba, known to his friends and family as Mike, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, Tuesday, October 23. Originally from Winnipeg, he made Canmore his home in 2002.
Liked by all, Mike soon was known throughout town and enjoyed making his "rounds" to his favorite restaurants. He is survived by Richard, Andrew and Matthew, his beloved sons, his business partners turned family, co workers and countless friends.
Mike lived large and had one amazing ride, from flying fighter jets to starting multiple successful business ventures. He was adventurous, kind, intelligent and a good man. He will be dearly missed by all lucky enough to have known him.
There was a celebration of his life held at his desired spot,
the Rose and Crown in Canmore, on Thursday, November 8, 2018.
Friends were invited to drop in anytime between 3-8 to share or listen to stories of his past.
