Mary-Beth Carlson

It is with the deep sadness the family of Mary-Beth Emily May Carlson (née Robinson) announces that she passed away on Jan. 2, 2013 while surrounded by those who loved her dearly. Mary-Beth will be dearly missed by her friends and family and remembered for her ability to live life to the fullest.

Mary-Beth moved to Canmore in 1976 and since that time has contributed to many groups and causes that were close to her heart in the community like the Canmore Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary. Mary-Beth made a difference in many people's lives through her tireless commitment and ability to get things done.

She was born in Calgary on July 16, 1956 to, and was predeceased by, her parents Betty Elisa May (Young) in 1978 and George Edwin Robinson in 1998. She was also predeceased by her nephew Gerald Wayne Foubert in 1978.

Mary-Beth is survived by her husband Terry Carlson and her son

P.J. Robertson and his partner Kathie Cook; her sister Lesa Robinson and her partner Tom Thoroughgood and her brother Robert Robinson and his wife Lynn; her five nieces Tanya Foubert and Tabitha Foubert, her husband Jason Jevons and children Drustin and Samantha, Brandy Randle and her partner Luke Armstrong and daughters Skylar and Brooke; Mallory Semmler and her husband Nick and Cassy Robinson and her fiancé Branden Hanson; and her aunts Ann Saunders, Doreen Huntington, Arlene Pretula and Hazel Setala.

Mary-Beth will also be remembered by the Carlson family, who were very dear to her heart, including her mother-in-law Betty and by Terry's brothers and sisters and all their nieces and nephews. She was prececeased by her father-in-law Mel in 2005.
