It is with great sadness that we announce that Lucille Rose Marie Gilmour,
92, of Calgary passed away peacefully accompanied by family.
Lucille was the daughter of Delphis and Marie Gregoire and grew up on the family farm in southwest Saskatchewan. She eventually ended up in Calgary where she had a rewarding and successful career in the oil patch. She loved sewing, baking, spending time with her grandchildren and enjoying the summer months at her cottage on the Shuswap Lake in BC.
Lucille was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Robert Faulds Gilmour, as well as her four sisters Cecile, Isabel, Georgette and Lorette and two brothers, Antonio and Gerard.
Lucille is survived by her four children, Ken Brimacombe (Deb), Carolyn Knudsen (Jeff), Jackie Pratt and Leslie Brimacombe (Cary Dick). In addition she is survived by her eleven grandchildren, Jason and Justin Mauro, Robert Knudsen, Cassidy LaMarsh, Keltie Pratt, Cailyn Malmberg, Stacey and Stephanie Hall, Mike, Mark and Jeff Brimacombe. Lucille has one surviving sibling, Jerome Gregoire (Birdie).
As was Lucille's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be
no formal funeral service.
