In loving memory of Lorne Harold Maubert who passed away peacefully at his home in Canmore. Born in Calgary, Lorne is survived by his soulmate and loving wife of 31 years, Gwen and his three children Nathan (Danielle and grandchildren Anaya and Eden), Matthew and Meghan. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. Lorne is also survived by four siblings; Gerry, Robert, Linda and Mark.
Lorne and Gwen moved to Canmore in 1983. Lorne had a love / hate relationship with golf and was known to many at the Canmore Golf Club. He was always laughing and smiling everywhere he went. He will be so greatly missed by all, and his memories will live on forever in the hearts of those he has both helped and loved.
A Memorial Funeral Service for Lorne was held Friday, June 18, 2010 in Canmore.
Lorne had many passionate years of community service with the Canmore Lions Club. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to remember Lorne, may make donations, in his memory, to the Canmore Lions Club, #102 - 112 Kananaskis Way, Canmore T1W 2X2, for use in community service.
