Lois Pinet passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years, one day before her 92 nd birthday, at Golden Eagle View Long Term Care Center in Canmore, where she had resided for the past 7 years.
Lois was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1990. She is survived by her children Rene (Terry) Pinet of Red Deer, Michel (Pat) Pinet of Canmore, Marcel (Cate) Pinet of Coleman and Denise Pinet of Canmore. Lois is also survived by her grandchildren Leisha (Shane) Klein and Travis (Melanie) Pinet and great-grandchildren Kristen and Cailey Klein and Jasmine, Desiree and Owen Pinet.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. M. Hawkins and the dedicated staff at Golden Eagle View for their care and compassion given to Lois over the past years.
There will be no public funeral service. The family will have a private burial later this year when Lois will be laid to rest with her husband Paul in the Field of Honor, Canmore Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to remember Lois may make a donation, in her memory to the Canmore and Area Health Care Foundation, dedicated for use in the Golden Eagle View Long Term Care, 1100 Hospital Place, Canmore T1W 1N2
