It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Lindsay Howard Deeprose at the age of 91 to his eternal rest with his Savior in heaven. Survived by his brother Donald Deeprose, daughter Kathryn Worthingham (Robert), son Ken Deeprose (Martelle) and grandson Jason. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Ruby Deeprose, his parents Fred and Hilda Deeprose, and siblings David and Geoffrey.
Lindsay was a long-term employee of Alberta Government Telephones and a member of the Alberta Telephone Pioneers. After retirement, he spent 25 years with the Alberta Aviation Museum as head of the Restorations Department, supervising and directing the restoration and reconstruction of vintage aircraft of historical significance to Alberta. After moving to Canmore, Alberta in 2017, he enjoyed daily walks along the creek trails to his favorite haunts for coffee and socializing.
A virtual memorial service will be held at a date to be announced later.
