Surrounded by love, Laura died with grace and dignity at the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital. Laura's zest for life and delightful sense of humour were a source of much hilarity at family gatherings. While she enjoyed a successful career with the federal government, family and friends were her greatest joy.
Laura was predeceased by her husband, Ross, brothers, Ed and Bert, sister, Adeline, and son-in-law, Bernd Ebel. She is survived by daughters, Maureen Ebel and Pat Haney (Bob), grandchildren, Martin, Anna(Hon), Tara(Martin) and Colleen(Craig) and her special little darlings, Gabi, Aviva, Sadie and Niobe. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Jenkins and Joyce Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Lodge at Valley Ridge in Calgary was a warm and friendly home for the past 3 years. Many thanks to the dedicated staff there. The family is also very grateful for the loving and compassionate care that Laura received at the Mineral Springs Hospital from all the staff with special thanks to Dr. L.
