Kelly Waddell

d. April 3, 2013

It is with the greatest sadness we announce that early Thursday morning at the Mineral Springs Hospital in Banff, Kelly took his last trip, with his wife Sally by his side.

He succumbed to a short battle with cancer.

Kelly was born in Edmonton to Lillian and George and an older brother Shawn, later to be joined by his little brother Patrick and little sister Lori. The family made annual vacations in the family station wagon to relative's farms and toured British Columbia. Kelly was an avid sports fan and hockey player in his day. Kelly worked for CN as a brakeman, later turning his patience and soft-spoken manner to driving instruction. He came to Banff 23 years ago to work for Brewster Transportation as a driver guide, taking the many tourists on trips; a work he loved. He also loved the Banff National Park and was so proud to be able to live and work here. He met his wife Sally through their jobs in hospitality and they married in Banff in 2005.

He leaves his wife Sally of Banff; brothers Shawn of Toronto, Patrick (Kathy) of Calgary; sister Lori (Randy) of Sherwood Park; step daughter Jane (Martin) of Wokingham, England and step grand daughter Beckie (Clive) of Wokingham, England, as well as nieces and nephews Chelsea, Michael, Ryan, Trevor, Quinn and numerous relations

in both Canada and Ireland.

A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013

in St. Georges-in-the-Pines Anglican Church in Banff.
