It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Kelley McKimmie at her home in Canmore on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the age of 47 years.
Kelley is survived by her partner and soul mate, Andy Garrard, her children Richard Van Mook, Amanda McKimmie, Madison McKimmie and Anthony McKimmie, their father, Kevin McKimmie , grandchildren Daniel Jackson, Destiny Ashton, and Alejandra Van Mook. Kelley is also survived by nine brothers and sisters.
Kelley's children and grandchildren were her life. There was nothing more important to her than her family.
Funeral service will be held Friday, October 23, 2009 at 1:00 pm at St. Michael's Anglican Church Hall, 707 – 7 Street in Canmore. Cremation will follow the service. An open house will be held in Calgary on Saturday October 24th between 12 noon & 9:00pm., where friends and family are invited to join to remember Kelley. Please call 403-975-0346 for directions
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to remember Kelley may make a donation, in her memory, to the Canmore Food Bank or to a shelter of the donor's choice.
