June Scott

June Bernice Scott, beloved Aunt, Sister and Friend passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at the age of 81 years in Canmore, AB.

Auntie June was born in Calgary, AB. The family moved to Banff

in 1949. After graduating from Banff High School in 1954, Auntie June continued her education attending St. Pauls Hospital School of Nursing in Vancouver, BC graduating in 1959.

Auntie June followed her career through many places including, Kitimat, BC, Inuvik, NWT, Royal Alexander Hospital, Edmonton, Consort, AB, and Alberta Red Cross Blood Transfusion Services before retiring from nursing in Hanna, AB.

Before settling in Canmore, Auntie June lived with her mother and many beloved pets in Hanna, AB. She had a deep love for the mountains and enjoyed traveling in her motorhome and camping with Gramma. They had many stories about their travels. She also had a special place in her heart for all her faithful four legged companions.

Auntie June is survived by her brothers Ron (Donna) of Calgary,

David (Bonnie) of Delta, BC and many nieces and nephews as well

as great nieces and nephews and one great great niece. June was predeceased by her mother Helen (Effenberger) Scott and

her Father George Scott.?

At Auntie June's request cremation has taken place. There will be

no funeral service . However, she would like for us to have a party, which will happen later this year.

In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to remember Auntie June are encouraged to donate to the SPCA or any animal rescue foundation of their choice, domestic or wild.
