John C. Third

With sadness, the family of Dr. John C. Third announces his passing on August 2, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Grande Prairie, AB on June 25, 1926, John served in the Canadian Military during WW ll. He then attended the Palmer School

of Chiropractic's in Davenport, Iowa after which he practiced

in Alberta for 60 years.

John was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his status as a Master Bridge player. He was preceded by his parents, John and Mary Third, his sisters, Mona, Barbara, and Patricia as well as his wife Elizabeth Jean Third. He is survived by his son John (Audrey) Third, their children Jay (Kim) and Jesse; his daughter Janet; his daughter Elizabeth (Dan) Wallberg and their children Ryan and Leah; and his son Patrick (Rick Clark). John is also survived by his partner Alice Third and her family.

Cremation has taken place.

John was laid to rest in the Canmore Cemetery, Field of Honor with full Legion tribute on Friday, September 23, 2016
