Jill Todd

d. September 26, 2010

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jill Todd who left us after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home in Canmore, Alberta surrounded by her family.

Loving and missing Jill are her husband Robert Todd, daughters Tessa and Emma Nally, her father Geoff Thomas, cousins Michael Simpson and Tony Simpson of Carlisle, England, Catherine and Peter Brown of Checkondon England, Richard Nally of Edmonton, Doris Todd and the entire Todd family in Canada. She was predeceased by her mother Jean Thomas (Rathbone).

Jill was a wonderful friend who loved life and laughter; she enjoyed running and hiking, was an amazing cook, entertaining friends regularly when she was not traveling the world with her best friend and companion Robert. Also, true to her British roots, Jill enjoyed relaxing with a good cup of tea and Hobnobs while snuggling with Spiff dog.

Her professional career culminated with an MBA from Athabasca University, and later as a successful small business owner of the Second Cup in Banff.

Jill's greatest joy were her two daughters Tessa and Emma Nally, who made her so proud of their past accomplishments and those to come.

Jill leaves to mourn her passing many friends, including the Callingwood running group in Edmonton, friends in Canmore, Edmonton, Portland and Paraiso II in Mexico.

A celebration of Jill's life was held on Sunday, September 26th, 2010

in the Pavilion at the Silver Tip Resort, 2000 Silvertip Trail,
