Jill Arnsdorf

d. November 3, 2018

Jill Patricia Arnsdorf passed away peacefully at the Canmore General Hospital on November 3, 2018 surrounded by her family. Jill was predeceased by her loving husband Hank in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Lesley (James), son Kevin, grandson Simon (Daisy), and cousin Graham Richardson.

Jill grew up in Purley, England and became Chairman of the Young Conservatives at age 15. On completion of school, she trained to become a secretary, & worked for a short time before starting a life with Hank in Canada. Her life began as a Naval wife, and soon after as a mother to twins. Work took the family to Norfolk, Virginia, Shearwater, & Diplomatic postings to London, England & Holland.

Throughout these years Jill made wonderful, lasting friendships.

Settling in Ottawa, Jill was very involved with the International Club of Canada, various tennis clubs, "Housewarming Hamper Service", Amberwood Golf & country Club, and Naval Wives Club. She was a social, caring, gracious & very proper lady. Jill made a courageous move to Canmore over 8 years ago to be close to family.

There, she embraced her new surroundings. Friends at 'Origin' became her new family.

Jill's family wish to thank staff of the Canmore General Hospital and Origin at Spring Creek for their wonderful care.

A great friend, a loving mother & grandmother, and gentle, gracious spirit, Jill will be missed by so many.

A Celebration of Jill's Life will take place at Origin in December, date to be determined.
