Jeffrey Grant Allen

October 29, 1979 — January 1, 2025

Canmore

Jeffrey Grant Allen, born October 29, 1979 in Brampton, Ont., passed away suddenly on January 01, 2025 in Canmore, Alberta. Survived by his loving wife Jessica, daughter Karly O’Toole (Caylin Jensen), grandson Ryker Dallace Jensen, parents Grant and Elizabeth Allen, and sister Jennifer.

To my son, my brother, my friend. Buddy we sure had a lot of good times over the years. At an early age he loved baseball. Starting in T-Ball to All Stars in Little League, for many years. One of the proudest moments in my life was Jeff pitching a no hitter and 10 strikes out in 5 innings, at a huge tournament. He blew everybody away and got MVP for the game. Then over the years, when he reached manhood, he had a lot of jobs. Oil worker, Fish farms, Resort worker, Carpenter, and really liked painting. We worked together for many years on many projects. Then in the fall, we would do the best job ever, picking Chantrell's and Pine mushrooms for the edible market. This is something we always looked forward to. His heart was as big as his smile. At around 36 years old he met the woman of his dreams in Jessica. I was so happy and proud for them. Both families have lost a son, brother, and friend. He was so wonderful. You, my son, will be fondly remembered forever. Till we meet again. Love your dad.

My brother did we ever have a wild ride together. The number of journeys we have had together were the best and craziest times of our lives. The memories of us fishing, 4x4ing in the mountains, building fires, swimming, snowboarding, road trips and just galivanting around trying to find anything and everything to do, even getting into trouble LOL we did it. Jeff, you had the biggest smile I have ever seen in a person and your heart warmed my soul. My heart truly breaks and you will be missed, but remembered always as my best friend and amazing protective brother. I love you to the angels. Your sister Jennifer.

Jeff and I met in Cumberland in May of 2016. We spent a week together and it was an instant undeniable connection. The following month was spent texting and talking daily. Jeff decided to come and visit me in Canmore, and ultimately never returned, he was home. Through the years we filled our time with various activities such as, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, baseball, dodgeball, pool league, concerts, professional sports events, and many more…. Even the ballet. Jeff and I loved our time in the outdoors together. He was happiest when we were adventuring together. On May 26th 2022, we declared our love for one another in front of family, friends and God through the vows of marriage. Over the 9 years we spent together we had more adventures than most would have been blessed with in an entire lifetime. Thank you my loving, and devoted husband for the time we had together on this earth, I know in my heart you will be with me and I will cherish and carry your love for me for the rest of my life. You loving wife, Jessica

Jeff was a loving soul taken away from this world too early. His great smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. Jeff left behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories.
