Janet Perkins

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of

Janet Isobel Perkins, a wonderful woman of 92 years, at the

Canmore General Hospital. Janet had lived at the Bow River Seniors Lodge for two years after moving from Edmonton with her family.

She had moved out west from Windsor, Ontario after the birth

of her first grandchild in 1990.

Janet was predeceased by her husband, Jim in 1966. She is survived by her son Jamie and daughter-in-law Helena of Canmore, her grandchildren Rebecca and Sean and by her nephews, John, Jim and Peter Perkins, and their families in Ontario.

Her family would like to thank everyone at the Canmore Hospital who made her final weeks as comfortable as possible, and Dr. M Hawkins, the Bow River Seniors Lodge and Canmore Community Care for their genuine dedication over the past couple of years to Janet's health

and happiness.

The family will have a private celebration of her life and a burial in the spring, when Janet will be laid to rest with her husband, Jim,

in the Victoria Memorial Gardens in Windsor, ON.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made, in Janet's name, to the Canmore and Area Health Care Foundation, 1100 Hospital Place, Canmore T1W 1N2
