Janet Mcdonald

Janet Monroe Wilding McDonald (nee Cole) formerly of St John's, Newfoundland passed peacefully away at the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital

Janet was the beloved mother of Heather McDonald (Paul Prefontaine), Susan Gorrigsen (Corky),Nikki Hall, Natasha McDonald

(Mark Northcott), and her chosen son John Taylor.

She was well loved by her nine grandchildren; Lexi, Charlie and Ben Prefontaine, Carleigh and Kiera Gorrigsen, Rachel and Sarah Hall, and Sage and Liam Northcott.

Janet was also loved and will be missed by her sisters

Judith Title, Susan Venn and Fluff Cole Hawley.

The family wishes to thank the Banff and Canmore Homecare teams especially Brenda and Julie, Dr. Jane Fowke and the fantastic nursing staff at Banff Mineral Springs Hospital.

Thank you also to her dear friends many of whom lived at Mount Edith House, for their love and support during her illness.

A celebration of Janet's Life was held on Saturday, May 23, 2015

at the YWCA brick house by the river in Banff.
