Jack Delton Kelly passed away in Kelowna on November 9, 2013. He was born to Charles and Pearl Kelly in Cereal, Alberta on July 23, 1929.
In his youth Jack worked numerous jobs on the prairie on farms, ranches, coal mines, the oil patch and the railway prior to moving to Exshaw, Alberta. He and Hazel raised their family there where Jack worked for Canada Cement Lafarge prior to retiring to BC. They enjoyed spending time at the cabin on Lake Okanagan for many years. He was a 50 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Jack will be lovingly remembered by his son Lane (Leona), daughter Dianne (Cope), grandsons Mark (Lori) Kelly and Troy (Michelle) Barnes and great-granddaughters Selina Marie Kelly and Mischa Barnes.
He is survived by brothers Myrle (Pat) Kelly and Ron (Judy) Kelly; numerous brothers and sisters in law; and many beloved nephews and nieces.
Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife Hazel in 2012; his parents, brothers, Bob, Lawrence, Ole and Gordon; and sisters, Violet, June, Orphie and Verna.
To honor Jack's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
