It is with profound sadness that the family of Harold Donovan Carr announce his peaceful passing on November 12, 2022, at the age of
81 years. Harold passed away in hospital with his three children
by his side for his final days.
Harold will be remembered by his children: Sherri (Dee), Gordon (Lauren), and Craig (Ruth); grandchildren: Matthew, Tysen, Everett, Tylee, Maren, Tanner and Emery; brother: Doug (Trudy); brother-in-law: Jack (Bev); sister-in-law: Sylvia (Ted); and numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 44 years, Doreen
(née Steventon); his mother Jessie Beryl and stepfather Frank;
and father Harold.
Harold attended University of Manitoba (B.Sc. Agriculture) and Colorado State University (M.Sc. Wildlife Management). His career took him to Calgary, Alberta, and later to Edmonton, Alberta, where he was as a Wildlife Biologist for the Government of Alberta until he retired to Canmore, Alberta. Harold had a great love for all things outdoors and was an avid naturalist, birder, skier and golfer.
A private funeral was held on December 12, 2022, in Canmore.
