It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Graeme Dotchin on June 28, 2016 at the age of 38 years.
Graeme was born on September 10, 1977 in Oshawa, Ontario, where he later attended Monseigneur Paul Dwyer High school.
Being adventurous, he later moved west to Canmore, AB where he progressed in his career as a carpenter and enjoyed the outdoor adventures that the Canadian Rocky Mountains offered. Graeme enjoyed and thrived at activities such as golfing, rock and ice climbing, kayaking and camping. Graeme was also blessed with a son, Tristan, with whom he spent hours teaching the joys of golfing, swimming, hockey and numerous other outdoor sports.
Graeme is survived by Joe & Marilyn Dotchin (father and step-mother), Heather & Gord Thompson (sister and brother-in-law) and his son, Tristan Dotchin.
A gathering of friends and family was held on Wednesday,
July 6, 2016 at the Georgetown Inn in Canmore.
