Gary Brayshaw

It is with great sadness that the family of Gary Robert James Brayshaw announce his sudden and unexpected passing on March 26, 2018.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Angelyn Bucayo (Brayshaw),

his parents, Joan Brayshaw and Billy Campbell, his brothers,

Glen Brayshaw (Elena Brayshaw), and Scott Brayshaw

(Megan Brayshaw), nephews Kaiden and Zander Brayshaw,

along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gary was predeceased by his father, Gary Brayshaw Sr., and grandparents Glen Brayshaw and Justine and Cyril Helbren.

Gary was born in Winnipeg, MB on April 18, 1967. He loved to build

and design, and earned a degree in mechanical engineering from

the University of Manitoba. He was passionate about his work as

an engineer in Winnipeg for many years. In 2006 he followed family to the Rocky Mountains of Canmore, where he enjoyed working as front desk manager at a local resort. Gary was kind, thoughtful,

and compassionate and had a lifelong love of music and playing

the drums.

A Memorial Service was held Friday, April 6, 2018

at St. Michaels Anglican Church, Canmore, AB.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Legacy Children's Foundation, which contributes to at risk children/youth and helps them to receive musical instruction, instruments and mentorship.
