Eva passed away peacefully at the Golden Eagle View care centre in the Canmore Hospital with her loving family at her side. She will be missed dearly by her children Elizabeth Hamilton, Madeleine Mantzavrakos and John Kadlec as well as her grand children, Katherine and Thomas Hamilton, Myrto, Christine and George Mantzavrakos and Robert Kadlec. Eva was predeceased by her husband Albert, who together owned and operated the Tatranka Lodge.
Let us not mourn her passing but instead celebrate her wonderful life. She will be remembered by many dear friends, both old and new, as well as her friends and nursing staff at Golden Eagle View and the Canmore Hospital.
Our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful, every day care to all of the doctors, nurses, housekeeping and food services staff at the Canmore Hospital and to the thoughtful and devoted volunteers who helped make Eva's last six years pleasant and enjoyable.
A private family service will be held in the spring.
