Elizabeth Kathleen Briskie passed away peacefully in the Canmore Hospital on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the age of 72 years.
Liz was predeceased by her parents, and her brother Michael, she is survived by her loving husband Clemens Robert Briskie of Canmore, two children Patricia (Trent) Semeniuk of Montreal PQ and Bill Briskie of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Julia and Matthew, and sister Pat Koliasnikoff of South Africa.
Liz was born in South Africa and worked as a nurse in Groote Schuur Hospital in Capetown, Guy's Hospital in London, and Donwood Manor in Winnipeg. After the family moved to St. Albert she became office manager for Robert's architectural practice until retirement.
She and her husband moved to Canmore in 2002.
Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Our Lady of the Rockies Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canmore. Interment followed in the Canmore Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully declined. Friends wishing to remember Liz may make donations, in her memory, to the charity of their choice.
