Edna Ellene Gregorish

Edna passed away on August 6 at the Canmore Hospital with her daughter Laurel, son Bob, and granddaughter Parise at her bedside. Her daughter-in-law Maria, grandson Ryan, granddaughter Destiny, and future son-in-law Brad were close by, supporting Edna with their thoughts and love.

Edna has lived in Canmore since 1979. She and her husband Jim (previously deceased) loved to travel, making annual road trips to parts of Canada and the United States. Edna's hobby was needlepoint and many of her friends and family have beautiful pieces hanging on their walls to remember her by.

Edna was "Mom" to many of her children's friends as well, always willing to give advice, encouragement, and a warm hug. An excellent cook, her holiday dinners were always a feast, attended by joyous guests.

The world is a better place and we are better people because of how Edna touched each and every one of our lives. We will cherish the times we had with you, Edna. Wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Thank you for the time we had.

Her family wishes to thank Dr. Michalyshyn and the kind and supportive staff at the Canmore hospital for their compassion and care.

Family and friends gathered to remember Edna on August 8th at the United Church in Canmore. Thank you Reverend Ron Jeffrey for the wonderful service.
