Doreen Marie Payne, beloved wife of 55 years of Ray Payne of Canmore, passed away on November 24, 2010 a the Peter Lougheed Center in Calgary at the age of 78 years
Doreen will be sadly missed by her daughter Patti Johnson of Vernon, BC, her son Dale (Cindy) of Canmore, grandchildren Shawna, Caylee, Jennalee and Dylan Johnson of BC and Candice and Tyler Payne of Canmore as well as three great grandchildren in BC.
Doreen is also survived by her sister, Edith Ohlhauser of Calgary.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff of Units 28, 29 and 39 of the Peter Lougheed Center in Calgary as well as all the staff at the Canmore Hospital for the wonderful care which was provided to Doreen.
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Canmore Golf and Country Club
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to remember Doreen may make donations, in her memory, to the Canmore and Area Health Care Foundation, 1100 Hospital Place, Canmore, Alberta T1W 1N2
