Donald Mcgregor

Donald Elvin McGregor, life long resident of Banff, passed away peacefully at the Cedars Villa Nursing Home in Calgary at the age

of 83 years.

Although Don was born in Manitoba, he was a "Banff Boy". He never left Banff after coming to Banff at six months old. It was his home. He was a walker – although he owned a car he was always walking around town. He loved his visits with friends at the various coffee shops around town.

Way back when, you could find him at the Rundle Café having a coffee

or a meal.

Donald was predeceased by his parents, Richard (Dick) and Mary Beatrice McGregor as well as his sister Elizabeth (Beth) Stec.

He is survived by his niece, Laurie Anne Stec and her children Ben, Matt and Kassandra McKay; his nephew Michael Stec and also by his two brothers Allen McGregor and Bill McGregor and their families. He also leaves behind his trusted friend and pastor Kevin Driver and family as well as his second family at the Banff Full Gospel Church where he was a faithful member for many years.

Memorial Funeral Service was held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at the Banff Full Gospel Church

Cremation has taken place. Donald will be laid to rest with his family in the Old Banff Cemetery later this year.
