Don passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on October 7, 2012 with his life partner, Anne Connolley by his side.
Don is survived by his children Michael and Jacqueline and his step-children Steven, Mark and Krista. Don also leaves behind four grandchildren Jackson, Charlie, Logan and James. Don is also survived by the mother of his children, Margo, and one sister, Evelyn.
When Don was younger he enjoyed everything about the mountains including hiking and skiing. This is why he decided to retire in Canmore, Alberta. Don was a professional accountant and had a keen eye for detail. He worked for the federal government in the Treasury Department. He travelled the world as a Manager for a technology company.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held Friday
October 12, 2012 in St. Michael's Anglican Church in Canmore.
