Don Clutsam

Donald Jackson Clutsam passed away peacefully at the Canmore Hospital. Cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. Friends wishing to remember Don are encouraged to make a donation, in his memory to the Bow Valley SPCA, 123 Bow Meadows Cres, Canmore, AB T1W 2W8

An Ode to my Incredible Husband

To my lover, confidant, partner, companion

To the man I married, when I told him I wasn't marrying again

You are the person I've treasured, I've learned from

these many years

My love for you, is difficult to describe using words.

I'll never forget us sitting under a cedar tree in Arches National Park

Dance competitions in many cities across the west

Living 'life in a snug' aboard our sailboat 'Sea Eagle'

Walking the beaches of many lands, holding hands in awe of sunsets

Your love for animals quickly caught my attention,

Beau, digging for crabs on the beach,

Shelby, learning to yowl with Beau,

Iti, little and quiet and Finnegan, being your Finnegan dog

We had our ups and downs, the downs were quickly forgotten

Only good times come to mind now

My, oh my, we've had more than our share of great times together.

Losing you is like losing my soul, like a sailor without his ship

You kept watch over me, to make sure my silliness wouldn't hurt me

You let me spread my wings and fly around as long as I didn't fall

You always wanted the best for me, now I understand.

Our life together has been precious beyond belief.
