Dianne Searls

It's with heartbreaking sadness we announce the passing

of our dear Dianne in Canmore Hospital with her loving partner

of 26 years Edmour by her side.

Dianne fought a long & courageous battle with Crohn's Disease. She would want everyone to know that no two Crohn's sufferer's are the same..that this disease is incurable & it affects lives in such a way that most are unaware of. For Dianne it meant giving up a lot of things she used to love doing…eventually not being able to travel or go out much. She had to say 'sorry' to a lot of invitations & became quite reclusive.

We are forever grateful to Eddie for being there all these years, taking care of her & being the best partner, & best friend anyone could ask for.

Dianne will forever be missed by Eddie & his family in Quebec who she loved to connect with over Facebook. Her sister Donna & fur-nephew Niko, her nephew Dean..all in BC Many cousins throughout Canada, US & Europe got to know her on Facebook, posting lovely pictures of the Rockies she loved so much. All her dear friends she stayed in touch with over Facebook & texting… have one lasting memory

"we never laughed so hard as we did with Di".

She was known for her humor and quick wit 'one liners'.

Dianne joins her beloved parents, Mildred & Andy, her sister JoAnn & precious Treasure, Maddie & many other family members in heaven.

There won't be a funeral so please cherish your memories of your time with Dianne and consider donating to

Crohn's and Colitis Canada

in the hope that one day research will find a cure.

Rest in Peace, Lil sister & dear friend.
