Diana Lynn Durant (nee McTaggart), age 61, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Hospice in Calgary after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Diana was born in Canmore to Daniel and Frances McTaggart.
Diana is survived by her husband Mitch of 30 years and 3 children. Michael (Sara), granddaughter Piper and twins Andrew and Sarah as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Diana spent her formative years living in the idyllic setting of the Rocky Mountains in Exshaw with siblings Laurie (Brian), Kathy, Tim (Jean), Dani (Murray) and Terri (Tony). She was a woman with a strong faith that gave her solace and strength when she became ill.
Family and friends whose lives she touched were invited to reminisce and support each other at a graveside service of interment which was held at the Canmore Cemetery, Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
