Dennis Jean Wood passed away peacefully and surrounded with love on December 9, 2016 in Banff at the Mineral Springs Hospital at the
age of 96 years.
Dennis was born in Stones Green England on August 15, 1920.
He immigrated to Canada in 1950 after leaving the British Merchant Marine and lived and worked in Montreal until he came west in 1978.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Linda, two sons
John (Barbara) & Peter (April), 5 grandchildren - Sarah, Tyler, Ryan, Michael & Jack, and 5 great grandchildren – Noah, Orson, Otto, Benjamin & Naiomi.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held
in the spring.
The family would like to sincerely thank his caregivers and the doctors, nurses and staff of the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital
for the loving care provided to Dennis in his final days.
